Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
Ingredients:
1 bag chocolate kisses
1 ¾ cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ cup shortening
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 Tablespoons whole milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix flour, baking soda, and shortening. Add peanut butter, white sugar, brown sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla. Knead by hand until a firm, workable dough. (Additional milk can be added if too dry) Make dough into small balls and flatten slightly. Place on aluminum foil lined cookie sheet.
Bake 6-8 minutes at 325 degrees, then remove from oven. (Cooking time may vary depending on size of balls) Press chocolate kisses slightly in center of each cookie and return to over for an addition 2-3 minutes.
Remove and enjoy!
